Who am I?
I am a retired teacher librarian and public school educator. I have been a Board member of the Utah Education Association (UEA) and on several committees of the National Education Association (NEA) — including serving as Chair of the NEA Resolutions Committee.
Many years ago I served a mission for the LDS church in the Alabama-Florida Mission. While there I spent several months in a traveling singing quartet known as “Saint’s Alive.”
I have been a Mormon Democrat for more than four decades and am working on a book about why my Mormonism leads me to be a Democrat. I started my blog, “Good, Wise, and Honest,” on Blogger.com in 2002. I have been blogging here at “Insight” since May of 2016.
